🕉️ Vedic–Shamanic Retreat for the Awakening of Pranic Energy Shiva’s Temple – San Rafael, Antioquia
🕉️ Day 1: Arrival, Assessment & Opening Ceremony Upon arrival at the retreat center, each participant receives a physical and energetic assessment to determine which manual therapy they will receive: chiropractic, acupuncture, Thai hammer (Tok Sen), or Ayurvedic massage. The first session is performed on an empty stomach to align the spine and restore the Pranic flow. A welcome meal is followed by orientation. Then we visit Grandmother Rock and the Triple Waterfall for a purifying immersion. We gather for the Opening Puja, which includes pranayama, mantra chanting, meditation, and energy invocation. Each participant receives a spiritual name and a Japamala (108-bead rosary), handmade by Mata Ji and infused with sacred mantras. —
🌿 Day 2: Castor Oil Purge and First Day of Fasting After the morning Puja, an Ayurvedic castor oil purge is administered, accompanied by herbal tea. Participants stay near the bathrooms during the cleansing process. A nourishing light meal follows. The rest of the day is for rest, journaling, and reflection. The evening Puja returns the group to sacred alignment. —
🌿 Day 3: Capi Medicine Ceremony This day is dedicated to Capi (Banisteriopsis caapi) medicine, used to open energetic pathways and activate inner vision. Silence and light fasting prepare the body for a night of guided ceremonial work. —
🌿 Days 4–6: Three-Day Shivambu Fast & Personal Therapy These three days involve Shivambu therapy (purified urine therapy), along with herbal teas and water. Each day begins and ends with Puja. Guruji offers private sessions that may include chiropractic adjustments, massage, yoga, dietary guidance, or spiritual counseling. In Vedic tradition, three days of Shivambu are equivalent to 30 days of water fasting in terms of purification and spiritual elevation. The sixth day may be emotionally intense, signaling deep detox and healing. —
🌿 Day 7: Breaking the Fast and Recovery The fast is broken gently with fresh orange juice or peeled orange, followed by a hot mineral broth and light food. The refeeding protocol is followed carefully. The day is devoted to recovery and integration. Participants rest, walk to the river, journal, or make music. Guruji is available for spiritual guidance. Evening Puja resumes. —
🌿 Day 8: Nighttime Jurema Ceremony A light breakfast is followed by a sacred midday fast. The afternoon is held in silence and spiritual preparation. The Jurema ceremony begins at midnight, guided by Guruji. Participants are invited to open mind and spirit to the medicine. The night is long, sacred, and powerful. —
🌿 Day 9: Integration & Blood Detox Therapy There is no morning Puja. Rest and recovery are prioritized. Steam chamber therapy begins: participants enter a steam chamber (head outside) for 8 minutes, followed by 6 minutes of cold water. This cycle is repeated seven times. The rest of the day is open for integration, river walks, music, or solitude. —
🌿 Day 10: Temazcal (Sweat Lodge) This sacred indigenous sweat lodge ceremony takes place in a womb-shaped hut (inipi). Heated stones produce steam, and participants enter deep states of detox and expanded awareness through song, prayer, and heat. Afterward, a ritual bath is held in the Triple Waterfalls. —
🌿 Day 11: Daytime Jurema Ceremony A daylight Jurema ceremony is held. This version brings lighter visions and a sense of joyful spiritual celebration. —
🌿 Day 12: Walk to the Enchanted Forest and Water Temple We take a meditative walk through the Enchanted Forest to reach the Water Temple Waterfalls, a sacred portal hidden in the mountains. We close the retreat with gratitude and a final blessing.
